Bible Insights Magazine is a personal ministry of Ron Lair. It’s my goal to help believers in their efforts to study and apply God’s Word into their lives. We seek to provide you with with an understanding of how to do effective Bible study as well as useful tools and materials for your study.

Rightly Dividing is a regular feature concerning the how-tos of doing Bible study and interpretation. More than just encouragement to dig in, we’ll provide the nuts and bolts to help you be productive in your study of God’s Word.

Ron’s Ramblin’s is my own little soapbox (what good is having a website if you don’t have a place to spout off now and then?) Here, you’ll find (hopefully) thought-provolking articles on theology, the church, Christianity in culture, and whatever hot topic that may pop up. Discussion is always encouraged and we welcome your input.

The Resources page provides topical and book study guides, outlines, and articles on various Scripture topics. The materials are in pdf format available for online use or for downloading.

Subscriptions - On the sidebar to the right of each page you’ll notice a Subscribe section. You may be wondering what that’s all about. This is a cool way that you can stay current whenever new content is added to this site. If you use a feed reader service, you can click on the “Subscribe in a reader” link to add Bible Insights Magazine to your feeds. If all of that was jibberish to you, that’s ok. There is even a simpler way to keep abreast of additions to this site. Just type your email address into the form and we’ll send regular updates direct to your email box. Nothing could be easier! About Me

Hi and welcome to my little corner of cyberspace. My name is Ron. I live in Moline, Il, on the banks of the mighty Mississippi, with my loving wife, Tari. I work as a digital press operator at a local printing company.

20 plus years ago, God suprisingly called me to teach His Word. It was a suprise since I am naturally quite introverted and couldn’t imagine leading a group discussion let alone speaking in public. Now, I’m a member of Bethany Baptist Church in Moline where I’m privelidged to teach Bible classes to a great group of believers.
